It was like that in Miami Gardens…It was one of those neighborhoods during the 70′s and 80′s where you moved to as soon as you got a little bit money. When me moved there, we were fresh out of Liberty City and only the 2nd Black family on the block. Over time the white neighbors faded and a new crop of aspirational black neighbors moved in. By the late 80s You had a good mix of influences from Lawyers to crackheads. But the good thing is a lot of those positive influences are still there now working to grow the community. So its good to see Ross & NFL Baller Mike McKenzie playing their roles in that process.
