In honor of April Fools Day…
In 2005 Steve Jobs (CEO of Apple Computers) gave the commencement speech at Stanford University. He gives the graduates a look inside of different phases of his life, from dropping out of Reed College, to getting fired from Apple the company he founded. With each story he spelled out how he’d learned form these experiences and was able to “connect the dots.” One of the most powerful things he said was… “You’ve Got to find the work that you love!!”

“If you can survive here[in the ring] you can survive in the real world, ’cause ain’t nobody in this fight but you.” -Old School, Kronk Gym Detroit
While visiting Kronk Boxing Gym in Detroit, we came across the wisdom of Old School- A 60 something year old boxer. He was the loudest and most energetic fighter in the Gym. Then the cameras came on and he kicked it into high gear, giving us some game, and even made up a word along the way.
Sacrifation \sa-krə-ˌfā-shən\\ noun 1. To sacrifice with dedication.
All jokes aside, there’s no one is in this fight but you, is such a beautiful summary of life. In boxing, as in life, you are your own worst enemy. In life the obstacles you face and the opponents that place them there, are only as powerful as we make them. Its our choice. lets choose to kick ass!
