Keep your eye on the sparrow.
The theme song from the 70′s show Baretta (featuring Sammy Davis Jr.) was in my head, and I was like- What does “keep your eye on the sparrow” mean? I looked it up and one the origins from the original gospel song was attributed to:
Matthew 6:26
” Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”
Now I get it.
If the birds can eat, find places to live, have flocks and a live good. So can we.
