Fresh Bread Daily: Looking For Time

time

You will never find time for anything.  If you want time you must make it.

60 Minutes:Lebron James, Inc.

We didn’t let the game of basketball use us; We used it.”

Just in case you missed Lebron on 60 minutes last week, here it is. In this clip, 60 mins takes you briefly through Lebron’s past and present gives you a glimpse into his life. They also cover one the most trailblazing moves Lebron made as a businessman. In 2005, he shocked the entire sports industry by firing his agents, and marketers, opting to go with his friends from high school. People thought he was out of his mind, but that is what made it so genius. Here you have the 4th highest grossing brand in sports, handing over all responsibility to his own company that consists of him and three of his close friends (a crew known around Akron as the The Four Horsemen). Unheard of!!! Of course people thought it would fail and he would be broke. However, Lebron is now the 3rd highest grossing brand in sports, with the goal of being sports first Billion dollar brand.

Its quite telling if you read between the lines. Lebron understands that he is building a team, just like he did when he brought his entire youth team (including the coach )to high school with him. He obviously operates best with his people around him.

Interview by:Tyrus Townsend

Steven Lopez’s background is similar to most American artists: love of art from an early age; family forbade him from pursuing his dreams; being bored in church and experiencing rejection early in life. But unlike most American artists he found his footing and now he’s well on his way to becoming a bonafide star. (interview after the jump)
